The Indiana Broadcasters Association (IBA) is a not-for-profit corporation chartered by the State of Indiana. The purposes of the Association are:
  • To promote cooperation and understanding among broadcasters, both radio and television, as well as among businesses and other organizations associated with the broadcast industry.


  • To foster and promote the development of the art of broadcasting.


  • To encourage and promote customs and practices which will be in the best interests of the public and the broadcasting industry.


  • To protect the members in every lawful and proper manner from injuries and unjust actions.


  • To act as a contact with other broadcast associations.


Membership Services

Legislative Network
The IBA monitors all state legislation and is in contact with the National Association of Broadcasters on federal issues. We alert members on important pending legislation.

Professional Development
The IBA provides numerous opportunities for continuing education and professional development through regional meetings on sales and programming, and at our annual fall conference.

Publications
The Call Letter is a monthly publication which features reports on current broadcasting issues and news about members. The News Flash is a weekly publication which features time sensitive information for the industry.

Job Fairs
The IBA offers many job fairs annually throughout the state.

Job Bank
The IBA acts as an employment clearing house for member stations who are seeking employees and for those seeking work in the broadcast field.

Directory
The IBA has an online database of Indiana radio and television stations. The database can be sorted by "City". Members can update their own information with password protected tools.

Scholarship
The IBA offers Scholarships each year to high school seniors and current college students pursuing a career in broadcasting.

Awards
The IBA sponsors awards each year, like the Spectrum Awards and the Hall of Fame.
