The Indiana Broadcasters Association is proud to serve more than 270-member TV and Radio stations that reach each of the state’s 92 counties.
In a year that has undoubtedly been trying, we continue to be impressed with the work of our Indiana broadcasters who have never wavered and are a critical resource in supporting and informing the communities they serve.
The recent rollout of the COVID vaccines is a glimmer of hope that we will be returning to “normal” at some point. But, we also know that the past year will in many ways change the way we live, work and gather.
The IBA is here to support all of our members as our industry evolves. We are committed to offering free, continuing education programs to help sales staffs, on-air talent, engineers and management stay ahead of the trends as broadcasters in Indiana continue to set the bar higher.
We also will provide scholarships to support college students getting ready to start their career at a time unlike any other our industry has experienced. We are committed to equipping our next generation of broadcasters with the skills and knowledge needed to stay excited and confident about careers in TV and radio and be prepared to hit the ground running when they are hired at your stations.
We’d be naïve if we said that we have completely weathered the storm, because truthfully, we don’t know what lies ahead. But, rest assured, as members of the Indiana Broadcasters Association, your station and staff are fully supported. The IBA remains in constant contact with our members of Congress and State Legislators to make sure the value of our industry is recognized and we are given the resources needed to thrive in the new year and beyond.
In an industry where the work is often thankless, we want to give you a rousing THANK YOU for all of your efforts. You make a difference every day.
Happy New Year!
