All Each Each year, the Indiana Broadcasters Foundation awards ten $5,000 scholarships to support the education of broadcasting students enrolled in Indiana institutions. Applicants are judged by a panel of broadcasters and awards will be announced on a Saturday in early Spring during the Indiana Association of School Broadcasters Spring recognition event, which takes place just before the IBA’s Spring career fair.
To get the word out the IBA has produced a 30 second radio spot (starring Eva Hallman, one of our previous scholarship recipients) which is available for download at the link below. Running the spot is voluntary but we encourage you to promote the scholarship program for potential broadcasters of tomorrow. There is also script available for download below for any TV or Radio stations who want to produce a spot on their own.
This spot should be run from now through January 31, 2025
